Requirements for Student Pilot License

1) Application Form CA61-18

2) 2 Photographs (passport size)

3) Original Medical Certificate Class 1 or Class 2. Note that if you recently did an electronic medical that was sent to AVMED, a copy of the A4 medical must be submitted with the documentation.

4) I.D Copy

• Please note that SACAA will not be accepting a Birth Certificate or a Temporary I.D.
• Student must be 15 years or older
• If the applicant if request to add a Type on his/her licence then an additional payment will be needed of R370.00
