Requirements for Initial Instructors

1) Forms: CA61.01.0

CA 61–12.4 (Aeroplane)

CA 61-15.4 (Helicopter)

2) Logbook:

• Logbook Copies of the last 3 pages incl. a dated “Career Summary” (incl. Flight Entry,

Endorsement)

• Electronic Logbook Copies must be signed and dated by the applicant
• Copy of the Endorsement, page must be from the back of the logbook

3) Valid RSA Medical (CPL & ATPL Class 1)

4) GR III – Exam Result

5) SACAA FEE

Note

SACAA will not accept the “Prep Test hours” or the “flight test hours” as Patter hours and the patter hours must be indicated as such or as exercises. Please highlight all twenty required hours in the logbook.
