Requirements for Initial Instructors

1) Forms: CA183-500

CA 61–12.4 (Aeroplane)

CA 61-15.4 (Helicopter)

2) Logbook:

• Logbook Copies of the last 3 pages incl. a dated “Career Summary” (Incl. Flight Entry,

Endorsement)

• Electronic Logbook Copies must be signed and dated by applicant
• Copy of the Endorsement, page must be from the back of the logbook

3) Valid RSA Medical (CPL & ATPL Class 1)

4) GR III – Exam Result

5) SACAA FEE

• R620.00

Note

SACAA will not accept the “Prep Test hours” or the “flight test hours” as Patter hours and the patter hours must be indicated as such or as exercises.
