Important Notice: License Collection Schedule Adjustment and processing delays.
Please note that SACAA will be relocating from their current premises in Midrand to a new location in Centurion, Pretoria on the 29th and 30th of May 2025.
Due to this move, we will only be allowed to collect licenses for this week today, 28th May 2025.
Additionally, we anticipate a backlog in the turnaround time for the processing of licenses during this transition period.
We kindly ask for your understanding regarding this adjustment.

Fees Increase
Fees increase from 20 January 2025.
New Licence cards
The rollout of Phase 5 of the card license project, which includes the Commercial Pilot Licences (CPL) and Airline Transport Pilot Licences (ATP). This phase was be implemented by the SACAA from 01 November 2023.
Card license will be issued upon submission of the application documentation for either a new license or the renewal of the competency of a license. The documentation must be accompanied by a CA61.09.0a. form and should the photo on the SACAA system not be clear to use on the new card, a recent colour passport photo (35 x 45mm) will be requested. The card portal is now operational and license holders can download their licenses and information from the portal. Please note due to system maintenance the SACAA will issue paper lisences until further notice.
Collections
License collections will be allowed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please include a letter of consent in order for us to collect any documentation from SACAA.
SACAA Submissions
All documentation must be scanned and emailed to our office in PDF format. No hand delivery/ courier delivery of original documentation or hard copies will be accepted by the SACAA. Only emailed copies will be accepted by Civil Aviation Assist and the SACAA
